What kind of cable do I need for Home Theater Surround Sound?
I bought an LG DVD Home Theater System “1080P Up-scaling” and I remember the sales person asking me if I had a certain cord to have the best sound possible. I told him I did because I knew I could get it cheaper than in store… Do I need to buy a cable for my surround sound? Does the system come with all the cords you need? Is HDMI only for picture?
Haha, I do the same thing when I get my oil changed and they ask me if I’ve checked this and that, had this system flushed and so on. I always say that I just had that done, then make my brother figure out how to do it for me 
An HDMI cable is probably what they asked you about, and they are indeed much cheaper online than in stores. They eliminate the need for all those extra cables that used to get tangled behind the television as they carry audio and video within the same cable.
