Magnavox Progressive Scan DVD stuck in?
My combo DVD / VCR is stuck in progressive scan. No manual again, and tried pull the knob, but that has not worked. Anyone know how to stop it? This is not me who was the first progressive scan, it was my boyfirend he is saying have no idea how it happens.
You do not say what model you have, but Philips Magnavox, and is a manual for one of their models. http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/m/mdv560vr_17/mdv560vr_17_dfu_aen.pdf On page 18 it says that if you accidentally turned on progressive scan and the TV can not display, you must reset the device. Do not turn off the DVD, but while on, press and on the STOP button for five seconds. This should bring the DVD to restore your image is visible.
