installed new dvd burner, tried to burn disc, driver won’t burn or read discs. Any ideas? Please help.?
Lg super multi dvd rewriter. Double checked connections/settings. The drive was reading fine when software was installed. Had some trouble installing software, everything froze, had to restart. system wizard says everything is good. when i put blank disc into burn, window popped up saying there was no disc in drive. Tried different discs, no change. Now it wont read instruction manual either. Getting frustrated, this is all new to me. Can’t afford to call the “geek squad”.
Check what dvd drive is installed on the computer. Did you remove the old one or are you running two? Go to ” my computer”, then dvd drive and open. Make sure your new one is active.
