I have this TV before X-Mas as a great surprise for my best half. She knew that I had been researching for months on a replacement for our panel 5. I read all the reviews on the edge lit LED LCD and compared with dozens of times in person. I'm not a fan of plasma at all, so that these systems were released. His death, as LCD technology continues to advance, such as apples make the latest devices. But came the local dimming backlight LED and 8500. There was a higher price for sure, but the picture was far from beautiful.
Set up was easy. Screw on the base or on a wall, you connect, watch the video and audio (you must use a surround sound system), evidence against movies, Blu-Ray & HD channels as soon as you have, and adjust to your liking. It's easy do. The color is sky high. Blacks are really black and blue are incredibly blue. In essence, the colors are realistic and not saturated or exaggerated details and will to do a double take once your favorite program is HD streaming through. Widgets are OK. I have not bought the TV for them. They are slow, but I work (I have a fiber Optics 30 Meg, Meg 5 Connection).

I looked up the price of this game for over five months (believe me, I had a guaranteed price match 60 days). Its increase or decrease. Will so far, because you can barely buy more due to legal problems between Sharp and Samsung in combat techniques. Some retailers have this model in our great nation, and if you can pull the trigger, they do. Samsung will not be able to reproduce an image like this for a while and not buy the hype in 3D. It may take some time to produce high HD quality video and games to always use the advantage of the structures of imbalance (upper and lower parts). Samsung has reached the sweet spot with this set and after five months of Blu-Ray, HD, Sports, Discovery, film for children, even in standard definition (GASP), I'm sold.
With a little What television, I recommend you buy the warranty on all legal because this series is Mumbo Jumbo. If it does and gets a lemon, thanks to you customer service Samsung. That is to say the least, somewhere between Darth Vader and Simon Cowell.
Viva el 8500. Magnificent visually define and super-thin frame is equal impressive.

We UN46B8500 purchased at Amazon, Amazon shipped via CEVA. We used the free shipping, but arrived faster than we thought, about a week. We were worried about how to remove the old 27-inch TV-heavy, and the installation process of the new television. The guy who did (CEVA) Owen has been awesome. He hung up and moved the old TV from the road. Connect the cradle (an arduous process, because there was an additional piece of plastic is not to fit the TV properly, and spent 20 minutes carefully shaved down a little at a time of adjustment). We put on our TV stand. I said I wanted connected (as we wanted to direct the sound to our receiver), and made all the connections, even for our DVR, DVD and CD player. Then made sure that each well. He taught me how to use the remote control, and how to perform basic settings, and how to change sources. Overall, he has been here for an hour, which I think is well beyond the call duty. As far as television itself, the picture is fantastic. We can not see a big difference between standard and HDTV, and HDTV image itself is strong, it seems, with vibrant colors. We could not be happier with the TV and our experience with Amazon and CEVA.

I have this TV for about a month and all I can say is I am glad I spent some money on this TV. I made deep research online and in person trying to find the best product out there and I am convinced that this decision was correct.
It is very easy to install. Actually there was more time for the screws in the base medium to connect and configure the TV.
I saw this same model to the wholesale less than $ 3,500 and I thought that was ridiculous, but when I saw it on Amazon for $ 1999, I had to jump on this offer. Was it really worth it. HD Cable for PS3 games and Blu-Rays, this TV offers amazing clarity and image quality. I know most people are not worth it, but I found the calibration line and adjustments to some of the custom picture settings to what I feel is to optimize quality. A simple google search for calibration UN46b8500 "offer many options to get the most out of your TV.
I have very few negative things to say about this TV. First, as I'm sure have read, the remote is pretty bad. It is very pretty, and comes on when it is used (and, unfortunately, every time there is a slight movement in the room that makes batteries to die quickly). It is not as sensitive as I would like, especially when used with your PC with DLNA. That more or less I can see any video I have on my PC streaming, or view or listen to music all my photos I have on my PC. This feature is great, but the remote is slow and frustrating process. But still, it's an option interesting. It also comes with a small remote control that looks more like a computer mouse is mixed with an iPod. But I did not even bother with it. Continue to sit with all manuals and documents I had with the TV.
I heard the sound quality is poor and television. The sound is fine, but it is something special. If you want sound quality, will have to get home theater system, like all other TVs on the market.
Finally, I bought this Samsung TV, because it was in the right direction with respect to the best image of television production market. This series is essentially a unique opportunity to get the dimming LED local. Samsung currently using the best technology to make the best of television, but now they are addressing the crowd in 3D and pool their resources to things only screen glasses instead of worrying about the image quality. So if you can find this model for about $ 2,000, they would be willing to acquire ASAP because it will not be for long.

What is a statement from someone who, until recently, was never happy with your current TV.
If your budget allows, do yourself a favor and buy this series. After months of research and debate whether or not to spend the money, I finally decided to purchase and glad I beyond'm done.
The first time you connect the TV, I scanned the guide to see what movies are IMF – came to Horton Hears a Who. In HD, this movie was honestly image quality of Blu-ray. Some of the images seem so perfect that appear to be in 3D. I also recently connected the TV with Samsung HT-C6730W and looked Avatar – Flawless. Something as simple as moving through menus opening of Transformers 2 and James Bond, Quantum of Solace (Blu-ray) in this group compared to 120 LCD Hz is clearly noticeable. For me it was an excellent example of what level of detail is the TV.
CNET better states – Samsung Series gradation on local UNB8500 LED base provides the best image quality of any LCD we've tested … you best remember him as the king of the LCD … "
